Authentic Polish food. We both got the Polish platter for lunch. Indoors, this is a small quaint restaurant with large portions. The weather did not permit us to sit outside on their large patio. The food and service were excellent. Good conversation with the staff. We'll be back soon. I highly recommend you stop by Valentines.
What a great restaurant. Family run restaurant with food that tastes like home. The food was all homemade and so delicious. They serve wines from local vineyards, which i love. I had never had golumpki and it was incredible. The short ribs literally fell off the bone. The carrot came was homeade and super moist. The food was so good we ordered 4 meals to take home. The family was super friendly and really made you feel welcome. We noticed a sign on the way out that said come as friends leave as family and that was exactly how we felt.
The food and atmosphere were amazing and the owners were even better. Business was slower when we ate our food, so the owners came out and we talked like we were old friends. Cheryl even let us try a prototype pierogi that wasn't on the menu. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Very highly recommend! Delicious, AUTHENTIC food, comfortable atmosphere, excellent service... You couldn't ask for more! Our favorite place to go for holiday brunches- always delicious & affordable. Owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating, they give you that "you're family" kind of vibe. The kind of establishment you definitely want to support- Always a positive experience!

Great food and the nicest owners. Food is fresh, tasty, and really good. Had a good selection of drinks. Portions are big. Wish we lived closer to go again.
Absolutely wonderful food the Pierogi platter was as authentic as they come & their funnel cake fries were a delicious treat after ! It is a family restaurant which I feel other patrons should consider when it comes to wait times as their food and services was worth it,we can’t wait to come back !
My family and I love valentines on the lake. we have been there a few times now and will keep coming back. My wife and I love their polish platter all the different homemade perogies we have tried have been delicious their homemade soaps have been really good. Are kids love their grilled cheese. We like the atmosphere it has a nice small town feel to it. You have to be patient with the service. Everything is homemade and they are a little short handed. But the little wait is so worth going. The waitress is super nice and funny and the owner is really funny. So yes it's a great restaurant that everyone should try and I hope your experience is just as good as ares.
